Cheltenham Little League offers the option for families to create a Player Bio that will be displayed on the team's homepage. These  bios are a fun and optional way for teammates, coaches, and families to get to know the players better both on and off the field.

Parents will be able to choose their visibility settings, deciding what information is shared publicly and what remains private. This ensures that every family has control over how their child's information is displayed.

Cheltenham Little League takes the privacy and security of our players, families, and volunteers very seriously. We want all parents to feel confident that their personal information and their child's information are handled with care.

ONLINE REGISTRATION & BACKGROUND CHECKS:

1. Registration System: CLL uses a secure online registration platform to collect player and parent information. Because this system is managed externally, CLL does not receive or store highly sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or credit card data.
   
   
2. JDP QuickAPP: All volunteer background checks are conducted through the JDP QuickAPP system. This process is managed directly between the volunteer and JDP. CLL never receives or stores volunteers' sensitive personal details.

PLAYER BIOS & VISIBILITY OPTIONS:

1. Optional Bios: Families may choose to submit a player bio for display on their team's homepage. This completely optional.
   
   
2. Parent-Controlled Privacy: Parents select the level of visiblility for their child's bio. You can choose what information is shared and with whom.
   
   
3. Recommendation: We encourage parents to avoid including sensitive or identifying details such as home addresses, school names, or personal phone numbers in the bios.

GENERAL PRIVACY GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS:

1. Share only the information that is necessary for team and league activities.
   
   
2. Avoid posting personal details (like addresses or financial info) in league communications, chats, or team pages.
   
   
3. Report any privacy concerns to the Safety Officer or League Official immediately.
