CLL U15 Girls Softball Come Back To Defeat 15U ARDSLEY

CLL U15 Girls Softball rallied to best 15U ARDSLEY 9-8 on Monday. CLL U15 Girls Softball trailed by as many as five runs during the game.
Nylah Raymond collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Raymond doubled in the first inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.
CLL U15 Girls Softball got on the board in the first inning after Brenna Good singled, scoring one run.
15U ARDSLEY flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs on one hit to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in three.
In the top of the seventh inning, CLL U15 Girls Softball went back into the lead after Clara Moffatt walked, and Raymond singled to center field, each scoring one run.
CLL U15 Girls Softball committed an error, which helped 15U ARDSLEY tie the game at seven in the bottom of the seventh.
In the top of the eighth inning, CLL U15 Girls Softball went back into the lead after Alsatia Malcolm singled to left field, and Quinn LaBohne singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Brooklin Good earned the win for CLL U15 Girls Softball. The starter allowed four hits and eight runs (four earned) over eight innings, striking out 15 and walking 10. Kai Orner took the loss for 15U ARDSLEY. The hurler went eight innings, allowing nine runs (seven earned) on 10 hits, striking out three and walking eight.
CLL U15 Girls Softball accumulated 10 hits in the game. Malcolm collected two hits for CLL U15 Girls Softball in three at bats. Moffatt led CLL U15 Girls Softball with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Malcolm, Good, and Skylar Miller each stole multiple bases for CLL U15 Girls Softball. CLL U15 Girls Softball stole 10 bases in the game.
Giana Bernardini led 15U ARDSLEY with two hits in three at bats. 15U ARDSLEY had patience at the plate, accumulating 10 walks for the game. Caroline Mayer and Charlotte Melcher led the team with two walks each. Mayer and Alexandra Vahey each stole multiple bases for 15U ARDSLEY. 15U ARDSLEY ran wild on the base paths, collecting 11 stolen bases for the game. 15U ARDSLEY turned one double play in the game. 15U ARDSLEY were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Alexis Harrington had the most chances in the field with 11.
